Bluebird
Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe
Perched on a rocky outcrop 200 feet above Sand Harbor, I looked up from my camera just as a Mountain Bluebird flew by. The image I’d just captured suddenly had a name. I’m envious of the birds that soar above the lake. Their domain is one of breathtaking beauty, where rocky peninsulas frame the perfect water. Were it not for the mountains’ dividing line, the sky and lake might become a single, unbroken expanse of blue, a unified whole that erases the boundaries between heaven and earth. Witnessing this beauty from my perch is like sharing in a bird's freedom, their world of boundless skies, endless horizons, and untethered joy.
Blues and greens dominate the color palette of this image. These colors are known to elicit a feeling of calmness and serenity. The composition of the image heightens the sense of tranquility as the viewer's eye is drawn from the rich blues and greens of the water to the breathtaking sweep of the lake and the majestic mountains in the distance. This arrangement creates a sense of depth and vastness, which is quieting and calming for the viewer.

Fujiflex Crystal Archive Acrylic Fine Art Prints
All our acrylic prints come with either a gloss or luster finish. Gloss provides amazing color depth and luminosity while luster approaches this level of brilliance but with less reflection if there is a strong side-light close to the artwork. Acrylic is the most brilliant finish for landscape photography and it approaches a 3-D appearance. Acrylic prints are ideal in locations with low natural light and good directional light from above. The acrylic print characteristics of archival quality, image brilliance, and durability makes it an excellent choice.

Chromalux Metal Fine Art Prints
Metal is an excellent finish for landscapes and approaches the brilliance of acrylic prints but with the ability to clean it with glass cleaner and a paper towel without any adverse effects. Metal is also much lighter than acrylic and, therefore is much easier to hang. All our metal prints come with either a gloss or luster finish. Gloss provides amazing color depth and luminosity while luster approaches this level of brilliance but with less reflection if there is a strong side-light close to the artwork. Metal prints are ideal in locations with low natural light and good directional light from above.
